Amanda is a Colorado native, having been born and raised in Colorado Springs. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After living in Germany for two years, she returned to Denver to study at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Upon graduating with her Juris Doctorate from DU, she was admitted to the Colorado Bar. She practiced at a Denver Estate Planning and Probate Law Firm for three years, before founding Peak Estate Planning.
She became passionate about Trusts & Estates while in law school. She explored many areas of the law, but narrowed it down to Trusts & Estates, as it is an area of law where you can truly make lives easier and help individuals. She is dedicated to helping her clients, whether it be in the planning process or the grieving process. Estate planning has the ability to take weight off of a client's shoulders by knowing that their loved ones are protected. Even though the loss of a loved one is never easy, she takes peace of mind in making the probate process as smooth and efficient as possible for loved ones.
Amanda continues to stay up to date on estate planning and probate changes through continuing education. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, El Paso Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, and Colorado Women's Bar Association. She also volunteers her time at The Senior Center.
In her free time, Amanda appreciates living in close proximity to the foothills and the mountains as her favorite activites are hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She values spending time with family and enjoys traveling when possible.
